It all happened very fast, before I had time to think about it. Still seems like it was yesterday when sulking me sat with my books in the wake of a fiery argument with Mom about how I should be utilizing my time. Nothing was more routine in my otherwise upside down life! I don't think I forgot to tell her where she stood in relation to the Mom polls more than once! Those were days Dad used to send up a silent prayer before ringing the doorbell and wishing we were not going to make him the village sarpanch for all our petty issues. But his prayers mostly went in vain as both Mom and I were more than ready to snatch his opinion on who was Wrong. This went on for a long time. Before long I packed my bags and went off to Nagpur for MBA. It was great to come home in the holidays, one got treated like a guest by every near and dear one. Two years down the line am in the terror capital happily jobbing along with million other rats but one thing has for sure changed. Today it seems like I am into parenting my folks. They have their quarrels and promptly ring me up to know whose side I am on! Its funny to give them the same advice that they have been giving me just the other day or so it seems. How do you tell your parents to grow up now?
